Just home from my Dad's cousin, Duke's visitation. Duke (LeRoy) and my dad grew up together, first cousins, Duke had 7 sisters so anytime he could spend time with his boy cousins I am sure was greatly appreciated. Duke never complained and was always ready with a joke or a smart-alec remark, hmmmm remind you of anyone? He lost his (second) wife Beverly 7 years ago on January 4th he died on January 3rd 7 years later. His first wife Jean used to work with my girls at Blimpie. They were a big part of my growing up years since my folks and they were really close friends. He will be greatly missed but we are assured we will all be together again one day.
Good day at works ha! Kim and I had lots of catching up to do since we had not worked together since before Christmas. It was nice to talk with her and keep an eye on the kids, we were and have been pretty busy with it being the beginning of a new year, hopefully some of these kids will get to be regulars and we get to watch them grow up a little. Lots of babies which we have not had for a while.
I have a hair appointment on Saturday and then maybe a movie with my sister hooray!

Next Friday I am not scheduled at Hy Vee yahoo!
