What a lovely day! Just back from a walk, yup  to the cemetery where I go. It was like visiting an old friend yet different, I guess time does that to us. It was different too because I took my old IPod and it has my old songs on it so lots of memories invoked and missing the kids who spent so much time with me wait, wasn't that yesterday? I am glad I went. I walked 3775 steps almost for an hour I could have gone further but thought that was plenty for a first walk.

Small signs of spring all around me. My daffodils are in bloom the trumpets of spring announcing the ressurection and I am sure there is more than 'one button' hee hee that's an inside joke. Buds on trees and bushes and of course the grass is beginning to turn green. Come on Spring and new life I have missed you.

Had a weird event at work yesterday that caused my drawer to be short :( last week I witnessed a gal running into the store with another person hot on her tail hitting her with what looked like a billy club. The manager was yelling  the police officer's name and yelling for someone to call the other manager. The stock guys were coming to the front to see what was up and the police officer wrestling the 'hitter' to the floor and hand cuffing her (turned out to be a woman) all the while I am trying to check people out at express and I had a clear view of all of it but had to keep doing my job when all I wanted to do was watch. The next day that gal that was hit came through my line with her Mom, they are regulars and the mom chats with me when they come through. There was no broken bones but she was pretty beat up and really sore. She told me the 'hitter' was flying pretty high on drugs and went before the judge that way telling the judge the gal she hit has her commie friends after her -  oh man it was so strange and surreal.

Easter is almost on us and I am excited to eat candy and desert ha! Let's hope I can keep it under control. The family is coming here for dinner. It's been a long time since I had everyone here and I am so looking forward to seeing everyone and being together.

Amy was intent on scaring our supervisor Kay with a mouse for April fools day! Ha She is really creative and when she sets her mind on something  she goes for it. She really got Bryan and Sheila with her toilet saran wrap joke oh that girl!

Ok I have an apple with peanut butter calling my name!
