I have not been posting here but back on my Xanga site. I couldn't get the pictures to show up on here and I could on Xanga so I have been posting there (not too often but when I do)

I have been having pretty hard days, missing Doug terribly. with all of the 'lasts' events at school and such he should be here with me and it's hard that he is not.
Andy was awarded a $100.00 scholarship from Playtime Poppy at the Drama awards banquet, Doug would have been so proud, it's things like that . . . so proud yet bittersweet because Doug is not here to share it with.
So, lots of tears and lots of missing going on here, other than that life is good ;)
Yes, Doug would have been SO proud of Andy. We are all very proud!
ReplyDeleteAnd we're so proud of you as you go forward with faith and joy midst the sorrow.
We love you so much!
Yes, dear one, many "lasts" events, many special events, many many many...
ReplyDeleteThat was great news for Andy.
"Life is hard, God is good!" If it wasn't we wouldn't want to go to heaven huh? God does bless us with many special people, He sure blessed us with you!
Praying for you Kathy! Love you.
ReplyDeleteI am proud of you, too, mom. I have been missing him too and hurting for you as i think of what you must be going through. I wish i could take all the sad away but i know that the longing is there for a reason. We had a good life with Dad and the promise of Eternity with Jesus...and Dad? can you imagine? We sang I can only imagine with the kids tonight and i thought of how dad loved that song back when mercyme did it at first assembly.....he knows now! LUCKY ;) I love you! Can't wait to see you at bible study tomorrow!
